Scholarly resources
Among the large body of manuscripts and other written documents assembled by the Institute for Zen Studies over the years are many valuable materials that cannot be found in other libraries or archives. These are available for reading and study at the Institute by scholars and anyone else with an interest In Zen. No charge is made for this service.

The Institute is in the process of making a database of purchased and donated books.
The Institute also collects calligraphic materials from Rinzai-school temples.
